One Pan Beef Pasta
One day I really wanted pasta that had a lot of flavor to it.
That is when I came up with this dish.
What's awesome about this recipe is that you can really mix it
up and play with the flavors in any way that you desire. When you make the
sauce, you can add as much or as little spices as you please.
Another reason why I like this recipe is because it is simple to make.
You just add the ingredients into one pan and that helps save extra dishes that need to be washed.
I hope you try this recipe out and enjoy it as much as our family does.

Ingredients:

1 ¼ Tri-color Rotini Pasta by Simply Balanced
1 package of ground beef

1 onion

1 package of baby tomatoes
1 package of baby spinach by Earthbound
1 package of mushrooms
garlic
1 tbsp oregano seasoning
olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Cut the baby tomatoes in half.  I buy mushrooms that are already sliced but you can buy whole ones if you'd like and slice them.
Add olive oil to the skillet and then throw in the spinach. Wait until the spinach becomes more soft.

Once the spinach becomes more soft, it will shrink in size. When it shrinks, throw in the tomatoes and mushrooms and mix evenly.

Add some minced garlic, 1 tsp of salt and 1 tbsp of Oregano (or as desired). Mix thoroughly so that the sauce will be seasoned evenly.
Close it with the lid and put it on low heat.

Cook the pasta by the instruction on the package. I used around 1 ¼ of my 2 packages. Also, I add a little bit of olive oil to the hot water, that way it helps the pasta not stick to each other.

Dice the onions
In another skillet, add the ground beef without adding anything else. The ground beef itself will have so much oil.

Break the ground beef into small pieces. I use a wooden spoon which works well.

Taste the sauce to see if the seasoning is good for you, but remember that we will be adding salt to the ground beef so don't put too much of it. After the seasoning is good, put the skillet aside and close it with the lid.

Add onion to the ground beef and stir thoroughly. Add salt to taste. (I added 1½ teaspoon). You will know that it's ready when there is no more pink.
Finally, put the ground beef in the pasta, and add the sauce to it all. If you'd like you can add the juices from the sauce, I usually don't just because I don't want it to have so much juices. I hope you enjoy!
